From a small spark in 2020 to a radiant tradition in 2023, Baking Industry Training College (#BITC) has truly exemplified the spirit of giving. Over the past four years, our dedicated bakers have lovingly crafted 124 National Day cakes for nursing homes, community hospitals, and social groups, spreading joy and warmth with each delectable creation.

These cakes, each weighing a substantial 10 kilograms, are more than just desserts – they are a lab or of love requiring professional expertise and heartfelt dedication. With each passing year, our talented bakers have poured their creativity into these cakes, bringing to life unique National Day-themed designs that capture the essence of our beloved nation.

This year, we’re thrilled to announce that our sister company, Straits Bakery, has taken the reins in creating the masterpiece for #NDP2023. Adorned in the iconic red, white, and gold-leaf hues of our nation’s flag, these cakes are not only a visual delight but also a testament to the unity and pride that Singapore stands for.

The journey of these cakes doesn’t end at the bakery door. With the support of our incredible volunteers, these tokens of love find their way to various NDP venues, including the prestigious SANDS FOR SINGAPORE CHARITY FESTIVAL, The hosts are #FannWong and #ChristopherLee. As we come together to celebrate Singapore’s National Day, let us remember that the true essence of this special day lies in the bonds we share as a community.
